Unified Identity & Permissions

The challenge

Multiple product surfaces each had their own authentication system with no shared identity concept. Users had to maintain separate accounts per product, and there was no consistent audit trail for access.

Our approach

Designed a shared identity model that could be adopted incrementally across products. The key requirement was that each product surface could retain its own UX while delegating authentication and authorization to a central service.

Solution & delivery

Implemented a centralized identity service with role-based access control, cross-domain session sharing, and complete audit logging. Migrated all product surfaces to the unified system in three phases, with zero disruption to existing user accounts.
