“Then envy not poor Munika.”—This story was told by the Master while at Jetavana about being seduced by a plump young woman, as will be related in the Thirteenth Book in the Culla-Narada-Kassapa-jataka.

    “Mā munikassa pihayi,

    Envy not what is Munika’s,

  6. 1.2

    āturannāni bhuñjati;

    for he eats the food of the terminally ill.

  7. 1.3

    Appossukko bhusaṁ khāda,

    Don’t worry, just eat your chaff,

  8. 1.4

    etaṁ dīghāyulakkhaṇan”ti.

    this is a mark of long life.
