    Those people who honor the elder

    narā dhammassa kovidā;

    are experts in the teaching;

    Diṭṭheva dhamme pāsaṁsā,

    praised in this life,

    samparāye ca suggatī”ti.

    they’re destined for happiness in lives to come.
