    “Andhohaṁ hatanettosmi,

    I’m blind, my eyes are ruined,

    kantāraddhānapakkhando;

    I’m traveling a desolate road.

    Sayamānopi gacchissaṁ,

    Even if I have to crawl I’ll keep going—
