เมื่อศาลเห็นเหตุอันควรเชื่อได้ว่า มีทรัพย์สินของลูกหนี้ซุกซ่อนอยู่ใน เรือนโรง เคหสถานหรือสถานที่อื่นอันมิใช่เป็นของลูกหนี้ ศาลมีอำนาจออกหมายค้ ให้แก่เจ้าพนักงาน พิทักษ์ทรัพย์หรือเจ้าพนักงานอื่นของศาล ให้มีอำนาจดำเนินการตามข้อความในหมายนั้น
