เพื่อประโยชน์ในการเร่งรัดภาษีค้างชำระ ให้องค์กรปกครองส่วนท้องถิ่น มีหนังสือแจ้งเตือนผู้เสียภาษีที่มีภาษีค้างชำระภายในเดือนพฤษภาคมของปีเพื่อให้มาชำระภาษีค้างชำระ พร้อมทั้งเบี้ยปรับและเงินเพิ่มตามที่กำหนดในหมวด ๙
