ถ้าผู้ขอจดทะเบียนมิได้อุทธรณ์ตามมาตรา ๑๘วรรคหนึ่ง และมิได้ ปฏิบัติตามคำสั่ ของนายทะเบียนตามมาตรา ๑๕หรือมาตรา ๑๗แล้วแต่กรณี หรือถ้ ผู้ขอจด ทะเบียนได้อุทธรณ์ตามมาตรา ๑๘วรรคหนึ่ง แต่มิได้ปฏิบัติตามมาตรา ๑๘วรรคสองให้ถือว่าผู้ขอ จดทะเบียนละทิ้งคำขอจดทะเบียน
