ให้สภามหาวิทยาลัยตามพระราชบัญญัติมหาวิทยาลัยอุบลราชธานี พ.ศ. ๒๕๓๓ ทำหน้าที่สภามหาวิทยาลัยตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้จนกว่าจะมีสภามหาวิทยาลัยขึ้นใหม่ตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้ ให้มหาวิทยาลัยดำเนินการเพื่อให้ได้มาซึ่งสภามหาวิทยาลัยตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้ให้แล้วเสร็จ ภายในหนึ่งปีนับแต่วันที่พระราชบัญญัตินี้ใช้บังคับ
