ให้ศูนย์ส่งเสริมศิลปาชีพระหว่างประเทศ (องค์การมหาชน) ตามพระราชกฤษฎีกา จัดตั้งศูนย์ส่งเสริมศิลปาชีพระหว่างประเทศ (องค์การมหาชน) พ.ศ. ๒๕๔๖ เป็น “สถาบัน ส่งเสริมศิลปหัตถกรรมไทย (องค์การมหาชน)” ตามพระราชกฤษฎีกานี้ เรียกโดยย่อว่า “สศท.” และให้ใช้ชื่อเป็นภาษาอังกฤษว่า “Sustainable Arts and Crafts Institute of Thailand (Public Organization)” เรียกโดยย่อว่า “SACIT”
