ข้อ ๖ ให้กระทรวงมหาดไทยมีหน้าที่กำกับดูแลและอำนวยการให้การบริหารงานของ ศูนย์ดำรงธรรมและการบริหารงานของจังหวัดดำเนินการไปอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและเกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด ต่อประชาชน ทั้งนี้ ตั้งแต่บัดนี้เป็นต้นไป ประกาศ ณ วันที่ ๑๘ กรกฎาคม พุทธศักราช ๒๕๕๗ พลเอก ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา หัวหน้าคณะรักษาความสงบแห่งชาติ
