ในกรณีที่หน่วยข่าวกรองอื่นของรัฐได้รวบรวมและรายงานข่าวกรองให้ผู้บังคับบัญชา ที่มีหน้าที่รับผิดชอบในหน่วยข่าวกรองนั้นแล้ว ให้หน่วยข่าวกรองดังกล่าวจัดส่งสำเนารายงานข่าวกรองนั้น ต่อสำนักข่าวกรองแห่งชาติ ทั้งนี้ ตามระเบียบที่ผู้อำนวยการกำหนดโดยความเห็นชอบของนายกรัฐมนตรี
