ในคดีที่ผู้ทรงตั๋วเงินฟ้องผู้ ลักหลังและผู้สั่งจ่าย ท่านห้ามมิให้ ฟ้องเมื่อพ้นเวลาปีหนึ่งนับแต่วันที่ได้ลงในคำคัดค้านซึ่งได้ทำขึ้นภายในเวลาอันถูกต้องตาม กำหนดหรือนับแต่วันตั๋วเงินถึงกำหนด ในกรณีที่มีข้อกำหนดไว้ว่า “ไม่จำต้องมีคำคัดค้าน”
