ผู้สั่งจ่ายตั๋วแลกเงินและผู้สลักหลังคนใดๆก็ดี จะจดข้อกำหนด ซึ่งจะกล่าวต่อไปนี้ลงไว้ชัดแจ้งในตั๋วนั้นก็ได้ คือ (๑)ข้อกำหนดลบล้างหรือจำกัดความรับผิดของตนเองต่อผู้ทรงตั๋วเงิน (๒)ข้อกำหนดยอมลดละให้แก่ผู้ทรงตั๋วเงินซึ่งหน้าที่ทั้งหลายอันผู้ทรงจะพึงต้อง มีแก่ตนบางอย่ งหรือทั้งหมด
