ผู้ที่ได้รับพระราชทานเหรียญนี้จะเขียนอักษรย่อไว้ท้ายชื่อ ก็ให้เขียนดังนี้ ผู้ได้รับพระราชทานเหรียญราชรุจิทอง ให้เขียนว่า ร.จ.ท. ๑๐ ผู้ได้รับพระราชทานเหรียญราชรุจิเงิน ให้เขียนว่า ร.จ.ง. ๑๐
