ให้ข้าราชการตำรวจซึ่งรับราชการอยู่ในวันก่อนวันที่พระราชบัญญัตินี้ใช้บังคับ ได้รับเงินเดือน เงินประจำตำแหน่ง เงินเพิ่มค่าครองชีพ หรือค่าตอบแทนอื่นใดตามที่ได้รับอยู่ในวันก่อน วันที่พระราชบัญญัตินี้ใช้บังคับ เว้นแต่ผู้ที่ได้รับเงินเดือนต่ากว่าขั้นต่าของระดับ ให้ปรับให้ได้รับเท่ากับ อัตราขั้นต่าของระดับตั้งแต่วันที่พระราชบัญญัตินี้ใช้บังคับ
