ในการพิจารณาขึ้นบัญชีมรดกภูมิปัญญาทางวัฒนธรรมรายการใดตามมาตรา ๒๐ ให้กรมส่งเสริมวัฒนธรรมเสนอให้คณะอนุกรรมการกลั่นกรองตามมาตรา ๑๒ พิจารณาให้ความเห็น ทางวิชาการเพื่อประกอบการพิจารณาขึ้นบัญชีมรดกภูมิปัญญาทางวัฒนธรรมรายการนั้นของคณะกรรมการด้วย ทั้งนี้ ตามระเบียบที่คณะกรรมการกำหนด เล่ม ๑๓๓ ตอนที่ ๑๙ ก ราชกิจจานุเบกษา ๑ มีนาคม ๒๕๕๙
