ในกรณีที่มีกฎหมาย กฎ ระเบียบ ข้อบังคับ หรือประกาศกำหนดให้กระทรวง ทบวง กรม ได้รับการยกเว้นไม่ต้องเสียภาษี หรือได้รับการยกเว้น หรือผ่อนผันการปฏิบัติตาม กฎหมายในเรื่องใด ให้สำนักงานอัยการสูงสุดได้รับการยกเว้น หรือผ่อนผันการปฏิบัติตามกฎหมาย ในเรื่องนั้นด้วย
