Tathāgatasutta

All Realized Ones understand the four noble truths in their twelve aspects.

ฉบับหลวงตถาคตสูตรที่ ๒ · จักษุ ญาณ ปัญญา วิชชา แสงสว่าง เกิดแก่ตถาคต

ข้อความไทยนี้คือ พระไตรปิฎกภาษาไทย ฉบับหลวง ซึ่งแปลจากพระไตรปิฎกบาลีคนละฉบับกับบาลีที่แสดงอยู่ด้านล่าง จึงไม่ได้เรียงตรงกันบรรทัดต่อบรรทัด — อ่านเป็นสำนวนแปลอิสระอีกฉบับหนึ่ง

ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย จักษุ ญาณ ปัญญา วิชชา แสงสว่าง ได้เกิดขึ้นแก่พระตถาคตทั้งหลายในธรรมที่ไม่เคยได้ฟังมาก่อนว่า นี้ทุกขอริยสัจ ฯลฯ ทุกขอริยสัจนั้น ควรกำหนดรู้ ฯลฯ ทุกขอริยสัจนั้น พระตถาคตทั้งหลายกำหนดรู้แล้ว.

ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย จักษุ ญาณ ปัญญา วิชชา แสงสว่าง ได้เกิดขึ้นแก่พระตถาคตทั้งหลายในธรรมที่ไม่เคยได้ฟังมาก่อนว่า นี้ทุกขสมุทยอริยสัจ ฯลฯ ทุกขสมุทัย อริยสัจนั้น ควรละ ฯลฯ ทุกขสมุทยอริยสัจนั้น พระตถาคตทั้งหลายละได้แล้ว.

ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย จักษุ ญาณ ปัญญา วิชชา แสงสว่าง ได้เกิดขึ้นแก่พระตถาคตทั้งหลายในธรรมที่ไม่เคยได้ฟังมาก่อนว่า นี้ทุกขนิโรธอริยสัจ ฯลฯ ทุกขนิโรธอริยสัจนั้น ควรกระทำให้แจ้ง ฯลฯ ทุกขนิโรธอริยสัจนั้น พระตถาคตทั้งหลายกระทำให้แจ้งแล้ว.

ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย จักษุ ญาณ ปัญญา วิชชา แสงสว่าง ได้เกิดขึ้นแก่พระตถาคตทั้งหลายในธรรมที่ไม่เคยได้ฟังมาก่อนว่า นี้ทุกขนิโรธคามินีปฏิปทาอริยสัจ ฯลฯ ทุกขนิโรธคามินีปฏิปทาอริยสัจนั้น ควรเจริญ จักษุ ญาณ ปัญญา วิชชา แสงสว่าง ได้เกิดขึ้นแก่พระตถาคตทั้งหลายในธรรมที่ไม่เคยได้ฟังมาก่อนว่า ทุกขนิโรธคามินีปฏิปทาอริยสัจนั้น พระตถาคตทั้งหลาย เจริญแล้ว.

    “‘Idaṁ dukkhaṁ ariyasaccan’ti, bhikkhave, tathāgatānaṁ pubbe ananussutesu dhammesu cakkhuṁ udapādi, ñāṇaṁ udapādi, paññā udapādi, vijjā udapādi, āloko udapādi.

    “‘This is the noble truth of suffering.’ Such was the vision, knowledge, wisdom, realization, and light that arose in the Realized Ones regarding teachings not learned before from another.

    ‘Taṁ kho panidaṁ dukkhaṁ ariyasaccaṁ pariññeyyan’ti, bhikkhave, tathāgatānaṁ pubbe …pe… udapādi.

    ‘This noble truth of the practice that leads to the cessation of suffering has been developed.’ Such was the vision, knowledge, wisdom, realization, and light that arose in the Realized Ones regarding teachings not learned before from another.”
