    “Bahū sapatte labhati,

    A shaven one wrapped in the outer robe

    muṇḍo saṅghāṭipāruto;

    gets many enemies

    Lābhī annassa pānassa,

    when they receive food and drink,

    vatthassa sayanassa ca.

    clothes and bedding.

    Etamādīnavaṁ ñatvā,

    Knowing this danger,
