ผู้ใดฝ่าฝืนหรือไม่ปฏิบัติตามมาตรา ๑๔มาตรา ๕๔หรือมาตรา ๕๖ หรือบริษัทแม่ของสถาบันการเงินที่ปฏิบัติฝ่าฝืนมาตรา ๕๕ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกตั้งแต่หกเดือนถึงสาม ปี หรือปรับตั้งแต่หกหมื่นบาทถึงสามแสนบาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ และปรับอีกไม่เกินวันละสามพัน บาทตลอดเวลาที่ยังฝ่าฝืนอยู่ แล้วแต่กรณี
