Section ๑๖๐๙

การแสดงเจตนาตัดมิให้รับมรดกนั้นจะถอนเสียก็ได้ ถ้ การตัดมิให้รับมรดกนั้นได้ทำโดยพิัย จะถอนเสียได้ก็แต่โดยพินัยกรรม เท่านั้น แต่ถ้าการตัดมิให้รับมรดกได้ทำเป็นหนังสือมอบไว้แก่พนักงานเจ้าหน้าที่ การถอนจะทำ ตามแบบใดแบบหนึ่งดั่งบัญญัติไว้ในมาตรา ๑๖๐๘(๑)หรือ (๒)ก็ได้
