ข้อ ๒ ปริญญากิตติมศักดิ์ มีสามชั้น คือ ปริญญาเอก เรียกว่า ดุษฎีบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์ ปริญญาโท เรียกว่า มหาบัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์ ปริญญาตรี เรียกว่า บัณฑิตกิตติมศักดิ์
