๘๑:๒And when the stars fall,
๘๑:๓And when the hills are moved,
๘๑:๔And when the camels big with young are abandoned,
๘๑:๕And when the wild beasts are herded together,
๘๑:๖And when the seas rise,
๘๑:๗And when souls are reunited,
๘๑:๘And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked
๘๑:๙For what sin she was slain,
๘๑:๑๐And when the pages are laid open,
๘๑:๑๑And when the sky is torn away,
๘๑:๑๒And when hell is lighted,
๘๑:๑๓And when the Garden is brought nigh,
๘๑:๑๔(Then) every soul will know what it hath made ready.
๘๑:๑๕Oh, but I call to witness the planets,
๘๑:๑๖The stars which rise and set,
๘๑:๑๗And the close of night,
๘๑:๑๘And the breath of morning
๘๑:๑๙That this is in truth the word of an honoured messenger,
๘๑:๒๐Mighty, established in the presence of the Lord of the Throne,
๘๑:๒๑(One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy;
๘๑:๒๒And your comrade is not mad.
๘๑:๒๓Surely he beheld Him on the clear horizon.
๘๑:๒๔And he is not avid of the Unseen.
๘๑:๒๕Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned.
๘๑:๒๖Whither then go ye?
๘๑:๒๗This is naught else than a reminder unto creation,
๘๑:๒๘Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight.
๘๑:๒๙And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation.
