    “Mendicants, there are three kinds of growth.

    What three?

    Saddhāvuddhi, sīlavuddhi, paññāvuddhi—

    Growth in faith, ethics, and wisdom.

    imā kho, bhikkhave, tisso vuddhiyo”ti.

    These are the three kinds of growth.”
