    One who does not follow advice when instructed

    Ovajjamāno na karoti sāsanaṁ;

    by an ally who wants to help,

    Kapotakassa vacanaṁ akatvā,

    not following the pigeon’s counsel,

    Amittahatthatthagatova setī”ti.

    ends up in the hands of their foes.
