ข้อ ๑๔๙๒ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย อริยสาวกผู้ประกอบด้วยธรรม ๔ ประการ ย่อมล่วงภัย คือทุคติและวินิบาตทั้งหมดได้ ธรรม ๔ ประการเป็นไฉน? อริยสาวกในธรรมวินัยนี้ประกอบด้วยความเลื่อมใสอันไม่หวั่นไหวในพระพุทธเจ้า … ในพระธรรม … ในพระสงฆ์ … ประกอบด้วยศีลที่พระอริยเจ้าใคร่แล้ว ไม่ขาด ฯลฯ เป็นไปเพื่อสมาธิ ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย อริยสาวกผู้ประกอบด้วยธรรม ๔ ประการเหล่านี้ ย่อมล่วงภัยคือทุคติและวินิบาตทั้งหมดได้.

“Catūhi, bhikkhave, dhammehi samannāgato ariyasāvako sabbaduggativinipātabhayaṁ samatikkanto hoti.
“Mendicants, a noble disciple who has four things has gone beyond all fear of being reborn in a bad place, the underworld.
