การรับรองนั้นพึงกระทำด้วยเขียนลงไว้ในด้านหน้าแห่งตั๋วแลกเงิน เป็นถ้อยคำสำนวนว่า “รับรองแล้ว”หรือความอย่างอื่นทำนองเช่นเดียวกันนั้น และลงลายมือชื่อ ของผู้จ่าย อนึ่งแต่เพียงลายมือชื่อของผู้จ่ายลงไว้ในด้านหน้าแห่งตั๋วแลกเงิน ท่านก็จัดว่าเป็นคำ รับรองแล้ว
