อันประทวนสินค้านั้น ย่อมให้สิทธิแก่ผู้ฝากที่จะสลักหลังจำนำ สินค้าซึ่งจดแจ้ ไว้ในประทวนได้โดยไม่ต้องส่งมอบสินค้้นแก่ผู้รับสลักหลัง แต่ว่าเมื่อผู้ฝากประสงค์จะจำนำสินค้า ต้องแยกประทวนออกเสียจากใบรับของ คลังสินค้า และส่งมอบประทวนนั้นให้แก่ผู้รับสลักหลัง
