ในการปฏิบัติการตามมาตรา ๕๓หรือมาตรา ๕๔นายช่างหรือ นายตรวจต้องกระทำการในเวลาระหว่างพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นถึงพระอาทิตย์ตกหรือในเวลาทำการของ สถานที่นั้น และในการนี้ให้นายช่างหรือนายตรวจแสดงบัตรประจำตัวเมื่อบุคคลที่เกี่ยวข้องร้องขอ บัตรประจำตัวให้เป็นไปตามแบบที่กำหนดในกฎกระทรวง
